Yearbook Yourself

I couldn't sleep, so I got on facebook and found this hilarious site called yearbookyourself.com. You upload your photo, select which year you want, and then can play with the angle, size and even skintone of your pic to make it look more realistic. It's pretty addicting, and I had to catch myself a few times from laughing too loud in fear of waking Kent in the next room! They have it for guys, too. I think I'll do his photos next!

1952

1960

1964

1966 - I definitely could have handled high school in the '60s ... I look darn cute!

1976 - Don't I kinda look like my sister Kelsey in this one?

1980

1984

1986 - Whoops, wrong ethnicity!

1992 - I longed for hair just like this in the 90s!
I thought it was interesting how some hairdos/poses tend to make my expression look different, eventhough it's the exact same pic of me in all of them. Ok, that was fun, but I really have to try to get some sleep now. Have fun playing with your pics!

Father's Day Fun

I invited the whole gang over to our house to celebrate Father's Day last month ...

I was very happy with how my Father's Day placecards turned out!

The Dads relaxin'!

On the menu was burgers and brats. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my gas grill lit (Kent was out of town), and none of the guys could figure it out either. Kent later told me that there is a special trick to it, but we rolled with it and arranged a charcoal contraption over my fire pit! It ended up being quite fun and reminded me of camping. My cousin Jackson was the official grillmaster.
